The Northwest Coin Club (NWCC) emphasizes numismatic fellowship and education. Our members vary in age and experience and cover a wide variety of interests from US and World Coins to Paper Currency, Tokens, and even Disney Dollars! Our monthly meetings include interesting and educational programs presented by distinguished experts in the field of numismatics. Other times we may hold a club auction where members can sell their extra coins and maybe pick up a few new ones for their collection. Our club is a registered member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) as well as Central States Numismatic Society (CSNS).
The Northwest Coin Club meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month. Meetings are a hybrid allowing one to attend online (via Zoom) and in-person. The in-person meetings are currently held at the Plymouth Community Center, ( 14800 34th Ave N, Plymouth, MN 55447). Here is a link to a map of that location. Each meeting starts with a 30 minute (or less) business meeting. We then move into our featured presentation which runs about an hour. We conclude with an optional "coin activity" (examples include show-and-tell or ask-the-expert).
