Next Meeting: Thursday, March 12
How Much Is This Worth?
-- dealers panel --
For our March meeting, a week before the Spring Money Show, our program features a panel of NWCC dealers who will be offering their opinions on the value of items attendees bring in. Not sure what you might be able to get for some items that you might want to sell? Bring them in to the meeting and listen to the suggestions of the dealers. Want to get a better idea as to how to approach dealers with items you'd like to sell? We'll ask them so you can hear the perspective from the other side of the table. And we've let the dealers know that if they see something they would like to buy that evening, we'll be happy to let them.
What to bring? Anything related to numismatics: coins, currency, U.S. Mint sets, supplies, books. Just keep in mind that the more you bring, the less time they will be able to zero in on each item. We will try to give everyone the opportunity to have their items reviewed by the panelists. And if you don't have anything to bring? Just observe and learn from those items others bring.

the Northwest Coin Club
Our local club has a rich history in the promotion of coin collecting and the education of Minnesota collectors. Founded in 1934, the NWCC is the oldest coin club in the Minneapolis - Saint Paul area and thought to be the 2nd oldest “regularly meeting” club in the entire country!
Education is the main reason our club exists and we are committed to providing local enthusiasts with the best and most current information available.
If you are a serious collector - or just thinking about becoming serious - joining a local coin club can be the best step towards enriching your hobby of numismatics. But don’t let the word “serious” scare you. The NWCC is comprised mostly of true hobbyists who collect coins and currency simply for the joy of it. We are not primarily focused on “turning a quick profit” from our endeavors, but on learning long-term strategies, best practices and especially on having lots of fun along the way.
If you are a coin collector in the Twin Cities Metro area, we encourage you to attend one of our monthly meetings and experience the camaraderie, fellowship and education offered by the Northwest Coin Club!
